HOT LIPS LIVE AT LYNX MUSIC
Hot Lips is a successful well-known Toronto “Alternative Band” that is so interesting ON STAGE AND OFF. Walking in a smidge late I got to observe Hot Lips during load-in and set up, it was all done with purpose. They worked diligently at setting up not only their instruments but the entire light show. the room layout-it was done meticulously. All the while, there was this fun, witty, even sharp at times sarcastic banter going on that was genuinely entertaining to listen to. I even get a chance to join in ouch!
Now when it was time to get down to the business of playing, it was powerful and it was marvelous!
Sarah & I were standing there experiencing this amazing sound with an amazing light show that transformed the room we were in, into a private concert.
To say hot lips is a talented band just does not do them justice. These very smart, talented pros that make jaw-dropping music are brilliant people a well. They seem almost bored by the laurels we wanted to shower on them for giving us such a moving performance. They were so down to earth about it all and it was a pleasure meeting them HOT LIPS takes their craft a level up “seriously”.
